Prescription injectable peptides were initially developed to treat diabetes. In 2021 the FDA approved semaglutide for the treatment of patients diagnosed with obesity or who are overweight and have at least one other co-morbid condition, such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol. The FDA is expected to give their approval for tirzapetide soon.

Bypassing the insurance headache altogether and ordering from a compounding pharmacy instead results in an affordable and effective option. However, even without insurance my cost is much less expensive and the process is simplified.

No! I provide 100% telehealth services. We will have our consultations by phone or zoom. You will give yourself your weekly injections at home.

No. There are no labs required for starting these medications. I do typically ask patients to send me their most recent lab results so that I have them for my records. If however, you would like to have lab testing done I would be happy to order them for you.

No. You will receive the insulin syringes you will need for your weekly injections. They will arrive with your medication.
